Boost your presence
Amplify your impact
Align yourself internally and allow your inner Self to lead the way.
If recurring emotional patterns continue to hold you back, Self-Leaders offers support based on the Inner Family System (IFS) through a supportive, gentle, structured process informed by neuroscience. This approach helps you reconnect with your inner self and create the conditions for clarity and alignment, even if previous methods have seemed challenging or ineffective, while remaining in line with ancient traditions of inner wisdom.
My name is Gerald Rorive and I support leaders and individuals who want to grow from within and reconnect with a deeper sense of clarity and direction. After more than 20 years in management positions in the pharmaceutical industry, I now help people through individual sessions online and in person in Rixensart, Belgium.
My support is based on:
— Internal Family Systems (IFS) methodology
— Contributions from neuroscience and emotional regulation
— Experiential coaching training (ICF-aligned)
— Practices of mindfulness, presence, and non-duality
— Experience navigating complexity and identity issues within international organizations

About me
Why does it work?
This approach works because it follows the way the mind naturally changes:
When your system feels safe, it becomes easier to let go of old reactions and access greater clarity.
Most people try to change their patterns through discipline, mindset, or personal development... yet the same reactions keep coming back.
IFS takes a different approach: it creates the calm inner conditions necessary for perspective, flexibility, and new choices.
Instead of fighting against yourself, you learn to understand the reactions that drive you, and they naturally subside.
At its core lies a simple truth:
Every reaction once protected you.
When met with understanding rather than pressure, new possibilities open up—gently and at their own pace.
Who is it for?
This approach may resonate with you if:
Do you feel stuck in recurring emotional or behavioral patterns?
You feel an inner conflict between what you want and what you do.
You feel pressure, stress, or confusion and want more inner clarity.
You have already tried coaching or personal development, but it never went deep enough.
You want to reconnect with something more grounded and authentic within yourself,
you are a leader faced with complexity, relationship dynamics, or identity issues.
How does it work?
By creating inner trust, you allow the pattern you wish to transform to soften, paving the way for a natural reconfiguration of the brain.
Create a sense of inner security
So that your system can relax and allow new responses to emerge.
Connecting to sensations in the body
Identify where it manifests itself in your experience: sensations, emotions, tensions.
Listen to your positive intention
Each pattern tries to protect you in the only way it knows how, even if that strategy is no longer appropriate.
Recognition of the work of the scheme
When the pattern feels seen and appreciated for its efforts, it begins to relax.
Co-creating new possibilities
You and the diagram identify what he needs and how you can support him.
Adapting the model to the current reality
As internal security increases, the pattern naturally adapts to your current life instead of reacting based on the past.
The path may involve different internal reactions to sometimes conflicting needs.
The goal is to bring about greater inner alignment, so that every part of you feels respected, valued, and free to support you in a way that truly serves your present life.
How does that help?
This work will help you to:
Clarify your thoughts and priorities in times of pressure, transition, or uncertainty.
Understand your inner dynamics and soften counterproductive patterns.
Cultivate a calmer inner space from which to respond rather than react.
Reconnect with your inner wisdom and what truly matters.
Bring more authenticity to your relationships and conversations.
Open up space for creativity, intuition, and the emergence of new ideas.
Make decisions that are aligned with your values rather than guided by reaction.
Regain a sense of confidence and inner drive.

“You don't become good by trying to be good,
but by finding the goodness that is already within you and
allowing that goodness to emerge.”
