Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • IFS coaching is based on the Internal Family Systems model, an approach that helps you understand and connect with the different inner parts (emotions and patterns) that show up in your daily life.
It follows how the mind naturally organizes itself and shares similarities with many ancient healing traditions.
Most people find this process intuitive, gentle, and surprisingly natural.

  • In IFS, the "Self" refers to the part of you that is calm, clear, compassionate, and grounded — your natural capacity for inner leadership.
You experience it through qualities such as curiosity, compassion, confidence, clarity, and openness.
IFS coaching helps you access more of this inner presence so it can guide your decisions and interactions.

  • IFS never pushes you into intense emotional states.
You remain fully present and in control of your pace at all times.
We approach emotions gradually, with curiosity rather than intensity, allowing you to connect with them without feeling overwhelmed.

People are often surprised by how grounded, gentle, and natural the process feels.

  • One of the strengths of this model is that you never need to share anything for the work to be effective. You can share if you wish and if it helps you, but the process works just as well if you keep everything to yourself — we simply stay in sync so I can offer the most relevant support.

As you integrate the method, you will be able to carry out much of the process on your own, seeking support only when something becomes more challenging and requires special attention.

    • Why online works very well:
IFS is an internal process; being in your own personal space often deepens the work.

      Why in-person also works:
Some clients prefer the physical presence, grounding, and direct connection.

  • There is no predefined number.
Some clients experience significant changes in just a few sessions, while others prefer ongoing support over a longer period.
The pace depends on your goals, your situation, and what emerges within you as we work.
We regularly review your progress and adjust the support according to your needs.

  • Sessions generally last between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on what is needed for you to leave with clarity and a real sense of progress.

Sessions last 90 minutes. The fee is €80 online and €90 in person.

This contribution reflects your commitment to yourself and to the process.

  • It's optional. Many people take time to reflect in the days that follow, but for others, the work continues naturally, sometimes even during sleep.

  • You don't need to feel "completely ready."
A little openness and curiosity are all that's needed.
Many people start when they feel confused, stressed, or stuck — in fact, that's often the perfect time.
If you are willing to gently explore your inner world, then you are ready.

  • The focus is on the present and the future: understanding what's happening internally today and creating the conditions for a freer way of functioning. If you are seeing a therapist, coaching can naturally complement it.

  • Yes — and often, skeptics make the best clients.

This approach doesn't require you to believe in anything beforehand. It's based on documented psychological and neuroscientific mechanisms, and on your own direct experience, not on abstract concepts.

If you demand evidence and are not keen on vague approaches: this work is designed with exactly that mindset. The discovery conversation is there for you to judge for yourself, without any commitment.
